Do you want to think more clearly and have more energy and creativity?
I’m Aleisha, a Mayo Clinic-trained health and wellness coach and writer. I’m certified by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaches. Based in Minneapolis, M.N., I serve caregivers, healthcare workers, and writers nationwide via remote health and wellness coaching services.
After a decade each in journalism and health care, I understand the stress and pressures of deadlines and mission-driven work and the toll they can take on folks in these industries. I’m currently on submission with a Big Five publisher, so I also know how it feels to strive to get that manuscript polished, wade through the query trenches, and deal with industry shifts and unknowns.
Using my background and a holistic view of health and wellness, I’m here to help you cross the finish line of your big project without getting burned out. We’ll dial in on ways to keep yourself well amid the highs, lows, and unpredictability of your writing journey — whether that be by building a strong support network, getting regular exercise and rest, or unleashing your inherent strengths to keep you driving forward toward your goals.
I also offer workshops on creating a wellness vision as a motivator for goal achievement, and I host a podcast called Wellness Wins, about people overcoming health and wellness challenges. I also co-host Minnesota Minds: Cultivating Creativity with Rachel Lauer. We interview all kinds of fascinating multidisciplinary artists and uncover the joys, challenges, and successes of their careers.

A: My approach combines wellness practices with strategies for productivity. As a board-certified wellness coach with a background in journalism and healthcare, I specialize in helping creatives align their mental, physical, and emotional well-being to enhance their creative output. I also work with overwhelmed healthcare workers and other professionals to identify their priorities and create sustainable wellness practices to improve their sense of calm well-being and quality of life.

Eight-week package: Four virtual sessions are conducted every other week with email check-in between sessions.
